Lost Lighthouse (Speed run) Empty
PostSubject: Lost Lighthouse (Speed run)   Lost Lighthouse (Speed run) EmptyWed Apr 13, 2011 11:23 am

Hey guys I found a LH guide for yall Wink

Light House is an extremely annoying instance that becomes available in Forsaken World when a player reaches level 30.To make this instance a lot easier The Erydaian will be showing players how to make a run that takes usually an hour or two into a run which required for forsaken worlds title achievement for Light House in is 30 minutes or less.

In preparations to do Light House have a stoneman protector for it , a priest, and assorted high DPS(damage per second) classes. At thirty bards get their AOE heal which is very good when it comes to fresh 30 parties allowing the party to be able to handle the AOE’s given off by the Light House dungeon monsters. Bring along regen over time mana and health food. Desert waters come in very handy allowing users to save mana potions even though they should be well stocked on both mana and food to be able to handle the multiple mobs being planned on for the speed run if the healer doesn’t have time cast on all members 50 of each type of potion is a decent amount to finish the dungeon. To save on buff times at the start of the dungeon gather all six members at Ferrie, the healer outside of the library in Freedom Harbor heal and buff and Queue the group to enter from there using the group instance menu.

Once inside the dungeon ignore the pirates at the entrance and allow the guards to fight them passing by them make a 45 degree run to the right from the north dodging which pirates are possible and pull and fight the mobs you cannot avoid prior to fighting FATTY .Have your tank pull fatty and angle him away from the group to avoid his cone AOE spell if you gather a small amount of extra mobs have the tank taunt them off and continue to fight the boss. Once Fatty is killed you will be running up a small staircase and along the wall till you reach rock where all members will gather. At this position the mobs will lose aggro and go back to their original location.*MAKE SURE NOT TO FALL ON THE RIGHT SIDE* it will become the end of your speed run if you do and will take several minutes for your team members to jump out of the stuck location.

Dropping down once all the mobs have left and fight your way through the cave north. Ignore the sailors and knights fighting once you exit and proceed along the coast wall if fights are unavoidable try to deal with them quickly. There is a Ship on the middle of the beach which you will have to approach try to go around the big rock before approaching it trying to aggro mobs as you get to it. Not fighting the Crab Hunter Wolves might not be an option as they have a very large range in which they can spot you from. These Wolves have Dot effects so try to have your entire team focus them before trying to kill other monsters. Once on the small island kill off the small mobs on it and be ready for a boss fight with “DOTMAN”. Like Crab hunters this Boss has a dot which stacks every couple seconds. The catch is it has a very small range. Your protector should pull him to the base of the plank and hold him there as the range DPS shoots at him from max range staying out of range of the Dot. As for melee to allow healers an easier time after receiving two stacks run out of range and wait for it to disappear then charge back in. As for the Protector he will if adequately healed be able to hold a large amount of stacks and be fine if the healer is having a tough time “Stony Protection” will be able to remove the Dot Stack and the protector should be able to continue to tank. If not run him around the island till losing the stack and continue to kill him.

Once dead arch back through to the beach killing artillery which can slow members of your party and run and swim for the Light House entrance. All mobs should simply be dragged to the lighthouse, do not engage them and on the left of the tower entrance is an elevator. Upon entering it will automatically send you to the top of the tower to the staircase connection to the next tower. Gather the mobs and fight them at the top of bridge area to the next tower being able to use what AOE spells you have at your disposal to lessen the time. Heal up and be ready for you next fight.

This is a two boss fight .Pull both the male and female pirates out of the room and fight them on the bridge area. Keep the male at range of people because he does an AOE attack once in a while. Focus on either one of them first depending on peoples preference 1 guy first cause he has an AOE, and 2 prefer to kill the girl first because she has less health points. Either way focus on one then finish off the other. Once done do not bother to rest unless near death use pots if needed and run up the tower by going straight the direction at the fork continue straight without fighting any of the mobs. You will find another elevator which will bring you into the main boss room. Oh looky it’s Forsaken World’s version of Davey Jones.

Heal and redo buffs and use whatever mana drink you have available and be quick to engage Drake. Drake fires and AOE does large amounts of damage spawns pirates. Have your melee taunt and agro the spawned added mobs as they appear and continue to fight Drake. After Drake dies run up and use the exit stone. Congratulations with this you should be able to finish Light House Instance in under thirty minutes.

*I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THIS* HAPPY RUNNING!
